New Manager

The way this is dragging on I guess there's no harm in putting my CV forward

Does ANYONE (except Dowie) want to manage Palace?

I don't know why anybody would want to palace job, I don't think anybody could keep this side up, they made a complete mess of the transfer window.

There must be a proven manager out there willing to give it his best shot.

Feel the same as BB above, the club/manager made a big mess of the transfer window. Why on earth would you buy Maroune Chamakh for goodness sake?!

I don't think anyone would disagree with you both. Palace and Sunderland got something like 17 new players each this summer. Looks like it's worked out well for both of us

It seems Palace fell into the trap many promoted clubs do upon promotion to the PL, which is to buy big in numbers but short in quality.

Like I say, Chamakh, really? Gayle is obviously a promising little player, but was he was Palace needed at this moment in time?

Then the likes of Bannan, Dobbie, Kebe and Mariappa. Not quite has-beens, more never has-beens.

Wouldn't give up hope quite yet though. Was at the Southampton game when they visited the Emirates last year and tore them to shreds, couldn't believe how poor they were in all aspects, yet a decent manager was brought in and look at them now.

Funny you mention Chamakh because Arsenal are still paying the majority of his wages. Something like £60k a week? So if anything Arsenal paid Palace to take him off your hands!

I’ll take the position
Gaffer; Paul Holden
Asst. Manager; Derren
1st Team Coach; Mon
Physio; Spanish Steve

Our 2-Goals conceded at wBa summed us up thus far! We rarely closedown so, that’s time & space given away = The First Goal & We NEVER have 2 Defenders on each side of the posts in Set Pieces = The Second Goal. £140 Million (including the Zaha fee) & We still didn’t replace what We lost! Even Stephen Dobbie has found the onion bag back at Blackpool (whom looked inspiring in Pre-Season) forget Children in Need – it’s PA1ACE In Need of a Manager to whittle the basics right! On the short-term somebody like Neil Warnock would firer up this Club again. But, We NEED someone who’s gonna stay long-term... Tony Pulis, Tony Mowbray, Simon Grayson, Darren Ferguson, or maybe just to p!$$ them clowns off... Chris Powell!

I heard rumours that there’s a press conference 15.30 today.

By the way, Barry Bannan is looking good whenever he gets a game.
Kebe needs time and Mariappa could play better, like he did for Watford.

Firstly, 'Paul'................Spanish Steve is not a physio, he's a psycho bud

As for our new manager, I'm not too bothered tbh. Parrish and co will appoint who they choose and I suspect that it'll be a decent signing for all concerned. We all know that we're only here for a year and it was always going to take a miracle to stay up in the first place let alone a third of the season gone! That said, I honestly don't believe we're 'quite' as bad as the table says. Maybe, just maybe, we could pull this one out of the bag......................?

I know, shut up TUX!!!!!!!
