Anyone here buy an Xbox One?

Let's do that, the XB1 is awesome. Kinect works 100% perfectly, which I'm amazed by. Bravo Microsoft.

im getting mine after christmas, didnt want to get one of the early ones and suffer having a broken console!

Tbh other than the higher pricetag because of the Kinect, the Xbox One looks more appealing to me.

I'm gonna wait till next year before I buy the Xbox One, probably around spring. At least by then there will be good few games out, and all the bugs would have been fixed. Looking forward to Titanfall.

Less than 1% of consoles have had hardware issues, and those unfortunate gamers are being recompensed by Microsoft by:

1. Having a new console sent to them BEFORE you send it back, rather than wait 3 weeks for a replacement to arrive; and

2. A free download of one of the launch games - I think FIFA, Forza or Ryse? I can't remember exactly.

The XB1 is definitely worth the price, I can't begin to describe how fantastic it is. It's gaming made easy, it's entertainment central, it's family-friendly. Brilliant.

I have 5 games now, I will play those until late Feb when Thief comes out, then play that for a fortnight before Titanfall is released. A big couple of months.

So you really rate the new FIFA on the one, have you given it a good amount of playing time?

FIFA 14 on ps3/Xbox 360 was absolute crap.

I hated the FIFA 14 demo on 360. Loathed it. I wasn't going to buy the full game on the back of it.

I was then given a copy of the game by a friend who works at Rockstar. It was okay, but I preferred 13.

14 on the XB1 is miles better than 14 on the 360, and for me, more enjoyable than 13. Some of the mechanics aren't quite right (Chris Brunt's right foot being good shocked me!), but overall, it is a significant improvement on the 360 version.

I've played about 20 games so far, using Barcelona, Albion, Leverkusen and Monaco. FUT I went off last year after trading for a few months and building up a team full of blue TOTY cards, so I don't think I'll bother playing FUT.

Fifa on this console is insanely good.
