Froch was too cocky tonight. He thought he'd walk all over Groves and got lucky. Doesn't look like he has many fights in him really. Ward could do damage

A ridiculously premature stoppage - but much as I can understand Groves's anger it doesn't do Froch many favours either - the feelings of the boxing public mean Froch will find it hard to refuse a rematch and he'll be 37 by then. It must give Groves an even better chance next time.
Whereas if the fight had been allowed to continue then Froch would PROBABLY (not certainly of course) have stopped Groves and could have legitimately avoided the rematch.
