Are we screwed?

Or are we screwed?

Italy? Uruguay? Pirlo, Balotelli? Suarez, Cavani?

And 2am, what is this? There's a limit to how much I can drink pre matches but this is ridiculous.

I blame Woy

Well if we do a quick whip around we can get Steve G and a few of the boys to have a "training ground accident" after the season has finished. ok it will still leave us with Cavani to deal with and some infected bite marks for some of the England team but would give us slightly better odds

Will be quite close I think.

Most would have Uruguay and Italy as better teams than us but I think we could sneak into second past one of them....

You know this could end up as a boring group the more i look at it, 3 score draws and maybe a slip up vs Costa Rica by someone. But agree with above - on paper Italy and Uruguay to go through, but with quite a big possibility of sneaking second or maybe even 1st it is that tight. Our biggest issue i think is at CB and i can see Suarez having a field day there.

Am I the only one who hopes Suarez scores the winner against England?
He may just get the last laugh against The FA!

I agree it could turn into a bore. That game against italy in the quarters was a snooze fest. Why is it that whenever we play the games are ridiculously boring? I can't remember a single game at major tournaments after 2002 which was entertaining when we were involved.

I can only think of the Euro 2004 QF against Portugal which was pretty good.

Most of the games in 2004 were good.

2-1 France with the last minute drama.

4-2 Croatia was a great game.

The Swiss game was only ok, 2-0? 1-0? I think.

2006 the Portugal game was good, group stage and Ecuador were boring.

2010 the group was boring again, Germany game was a good game.

2012 the Sweden game was good, rest were boring.

Whilst there would be a great amount of satisfaction in seeing Suarez put a hat-trick past England and dedicate it to the wánkers at the FA it would only add more fuel to the fire with regards to his villification by the english gutter press.

As long as it makes the gutter press angry, I'm all for it, the closer something puts those chocolate starfishes to an ulcer, a heart attack, stroke etc. the better.
