Our Full Backs

Thought the team were superb again tonight. Could easily have been double figures. Well done, Lenny & the Bhoys (hope that applause smiley didn't offend Ath like it did the other night)

I see we look like signing Aaron Taylor-Sinclair from the Jags - got me thinking what a great track record Lenny has in signing quality full backs. When you stop and think about it - in his time in the hot seat, Lenny has signed:

Lustig - free - brilliant
Matthews - nominal fee to Cardiff -excellent
Mulgrew - free - great servant in a variety of positions.
Fisher - free - super prospect.
Izzy - £300k - ok has not replicated first season form but still great value for money.

Ok - Cha du ri, Blackman and El Khaddouri were flops but they were cheap (free) flops

We all (myself included) give Lenny stick for some of his striker signings, but credit where it is due for his eye for a top full back. Having the legend that is Daniel Fergus McGrain in our coaching staff can't do any harm either
