why was our top goal scorer taken off? Ok the quality of opposition compared to reading was not the same but still he scored a mid week hatrick and waghorn certainly was not nor did anyone think he would better schlupps performance!
Matt Mills - obviously right from the first minute he was not in the right frame of mind to play against his old team, should have come off he is old enough wise enough and is paid enough to accept this!
Nuggent really struggling to understand what he does is he a striker? winger? Midfielder? Not critisicing him just struggling to understand what he brings to the team that we didnt already have!
kasper is a stand out so far absolute workaholic with matt mills having a shocker we missed a leader roaming the pitch!
Let hope this is just a one of shocker and the lads will gel and take some motivation from this poor showing. on paper we do have a very good team can they actually be a TEAM!
One other thing... we need a striker that can actually score, i know he is not everyone favourite but given the chance to have the Yak back i would snatch there hand off.

before anyone else tells me to "chill out its the second game of the season" i appreciate this and i do understand that a few issue will be sorted by simply playing games.
i also feel that what i said does not read as though i'm expecting miracles either.

Schlupp was taken off because he didn't look like he was going to score, Nugent was very good again - just too isolated. I just put it down to one of those games - everyone will be happy again on Wednesday if we win.
PS we never seem to beat Reading - (just like Leeds never beat us)

i think the reason why we including myself are disappointed it because of the attitude and commitment was not there today from all the lads, the previous 2 games have been good and showed signs of what we will be capable of so for us to then witness todays effort is hard to take. 2 games forward one back!
looking forward to brizzle already as i feel we may dish up a real kicking. in the car on the way back sven sounded disappointed rather than angry and as an employee to hear this from your boss it always hurts more than anger!
on the plus side as we have near on 2 sides in our squad there will be a few players looking to make a point between now and wednesday night! cant beat competition for places!

Very very disapointing performance, but sorry to sound negative I didn't think we'd pick up any points today. We never beat Reading!!
Anyone know why Michael Johnson aint been included yet, surely he came down to play football. I thought he would of been first on Svens team sheet seeing as he gave him his break in the Prem and seen him make quite an impact.
