Over the past week there have been so many negative articles and not many positive ones. Yes we may be in a bit of a crisis but there are still many positives about our club.
Firstly I feel our best 11 in my opinion has all the ingredients to be very successful once they jel together.
first XI
Lloris(26)
Walker(23) kaboul(27) vertonghem(26) rose(23)
sandro (24) paulinho(25)
lennon (26) eriksen (21) lamela (21)
Soldado (28)
Average age 24.5
First of all the youth of the team is the first positive. The fact that only kaboul and soldado will be in their 30's in 3 years and there early 30's at that shows that this team will be able to stick around for a while and form a great chemistry.
Now on to the technicalities of the team.
In goal we have a quality shot stopper who is an experienced captian for france.
In central defence we have a strong tackling physical player in kaboul and a great ball carrier who also happens to be amazing defensively in vertonghem. These 2 have all the attributes to form a great partnership. With rose and walker we have 2 fullbacks who can join attacks and add width to our attacks.
In central midfield we have 2 very physical players in sandro and paulinho. Sandro with his very effective hard tackling will be able to break up play. A point to note out is with sandro and kaboul both in our team I feel we will be able to stop attacks with ease and paulinho and vertonghem are no mugs in the tackling department. With sandro winning the ball back in the middle paulinho has the ability to move the ball forward and get the attacking 3 behind the striker involved. Paulinho has worked wonders for the brazil national team and given time once he has jelled with the team and understands the English game he will be a quality signing.
In the attacking 3 we have got a huge balance of width with lennon and creativity in lamela and eriksen. Lennon will stretch the play allowing more space for lamela and eriksen to create. I have always felt that playing 1 inverted and 1 natural winger is the way to go. I have also always felt that the day lamela and eriksen play in the same side is the day we will see a more fluid , creative style of play. Yes its going to take time for them to gel into this team and get used to English football but when they have we will see the chances coming. When you look how much sigurdsonn and holtby have improved this season it only proves how good lamela and eriksen are going to be.
Finally soldado, What can I say about him, brilliant touch and once the chances start coming he will be putting them away no bother.
If you look at our 2nd XI their is so much depth
Friedel (42)
naughton(25) dawson(30) chirches(24) fryers(21)
capoue(25) dembele(26)
sigurdson (24) holtby(23) townsend(22)
ade (29)
average age 26.45
All these players are more than good enough for second strings. I can remember last season for example when one injury to central midfield would result in parker or Livermore playing or there being no out and out back up winger and with chadli and defoe missing from that second XI it shows just how strong we are becoming. The only weakness's I can really see is a younger striker in the mix with ade (29), soldado (28) and defoe (31) and maybe a new lb although I think when rose is unable to play fryers deserves his chance.
Apart from a younger back up keeper and striker and possibly a new left back there really isn't too much Tottenham need. Although my personal opinion is fryers is a good enough back up to rose and should be given chances
I don't think there will be too many players going out of Tottenham within the next year. Defoe is likely to leave to go to Toronto very soon. Management will probably want to get rid of Ade and benny in the summer and Livermore will probably be also sold.
Outs
Ade 4 million
benny 2 million
Livermore 5 million
defoe 5 million
Ins
Young cheap unknown keeper £500,000
Cover/ competition LB 8 million
Young striker 10-12 million
With the cover keeper basically only coming in for injurys to lloris. There are only really 2 new players that would need to come in next season and most of the squad remaining together. Meaning next season should be exciting with the likes of soldado, eriksen, paulinho and lamela playing closer to their full potential.
Average age of full squad 26.5

Excellent positive article.
Yes its incredibly frustrating at the moment, a heavy home defeat to Liverpool and going out of the carling cup to the hammers.
hat we do have is some unbelievably talented players in our squad. The likes of Soldado Lamela and Eriksen im sure in time will be great players for us.
I think the best scenario for us now is For Levy to announce that Sherwood will be our manager to the end of the season. If he falters then we go all out to get a new manager in the summer.
Top four is going to be very difficult to achieve this season but not impossible and i really think we have a real chance in the Europa league.
All we can do now is get behind Sherwood and the team. It can only get better.

lennons perfect cross, he comes across as someone that won't take s hit so will get the players playing at their best and produce exciting attacking formation especially at home. Obviously i would prefer a decent experienced manager but at the moment there is nothing out there so we will see how southampton goes before i make up my mind on Sherwood.

Ahh, I wouldnt want to sell Livermore though mate, he has been pretty impressive for Hull. A better, injury free, Jenas IMO
