Coventry play Peterborough on Boxing Day at the load of old Cobblers that is the Sixfields Stadium. We Poshies do so love Northampton (especially after sacking ex-Poshie player, Aidy Boothroyd).
Coventry don't seem to have a nickname, so I have awarded them homeless status until they are sent (back) to Coventry, whence they could I suppose be re-nicknamed the Sky Blues.
Another interesting game against a team with high-scorers. Bradford's Wells was denied on Saturday, so hopefully will Coventry's two free-scoring strikers be denied on Thursday.
Orient without Mooney are slipping, as are Wolves; leaving Posh and Brentford with designs on those two AutoProm positions. The trouble is Posh and Brentford play each other on New Year's Day.
Oh well, we'll just have to beat Coventry, Carlisle and then Brentford, to re-signal our intent.

Having softened up Coventry for you we'll do our best to do the same with Brentford. It won't be easy, they're the form team in League 1 with nine wins in an unbeaten run of ten games. Still, all runs have to come to an end some time, don't they!

Disappointing result. An off-day for our goalie and the Assistant Referee who failed to spot that our third goal crossed the line. One to forget ahead of now a must-win away at Carlisle on Sunday.

Disappointment for us too...we led Brentford twice and conceded a couple of stupid goals. We should have got something there, they're far from unbeatable.

Don, Brentford are currently the Man City of League One, so you did well considering. Good that Ajose is scoring for you. Good luck against Bradford, a team we have actually managed to beat recently - hope we 'softened them up' enough for you
