4th or Goodbye to rivals?

As the title says, in jest of course 😉 would you take 4th right now or see Everton/Man U relegated. You can only pick one of them though!!

What you lot talking about 4th for you can still win the title, you played very well against city yesterday and where unlucky not to get something out off that game.
As much as I hate to say it I think Brendan doing a great job for you lot and I can see you winning a title if not this year maybe in the next few.
To answer your question 4th I'd miss utd -Liverpool matches.

Thanks Morgz. I hope we can push on from that game and solidify ourselves at the top of the table.

I remember City getting relegated and then again, at first it was fun but then I wanted them back in the PL.....

4th, without a shadow of a doubt.

The plight of other teams doesn't concern me, Liverpool do

forgotten that Everton lost at home to bottom of the league Sunderland.

We were brilliant yesterday (apart from the fook up between Osman and Howard).Gus Poyet reckons we're the best team they've faced. Not bad considering they've beaten City.

The best game every season is against Utd. I lived in Manchester for 10 years and even when we were a mid table team all my utd supporting mates said they were more nervous on our match day than they are against city.

I've been to old Trafford a few times and been going to a field since 84 and the atmosphere in those games beats any other English game by a country mile.

I get sweaty palms, I drink pints like they are water and I'm that gutted if we lose I mourn for a week. My ex used to stay at her mums when we played utd as she couldn't be around me. Egg shells and all that.

I would be over the moon with 4th considering we are a so called mid table club that nearly went out if existence 2 years ago

4th, they r games i wouldnt wanna be without and besides the epl would be so much worse off without them, gotta few mates that are celtic fans who laughed at the demise of Rangers and now the same people are scratching their heads wondering why they cant fill the stadium and interest in the scotish epl has declined. Without our rivals to beat whats the point!

To match the situation to Rangers and Celtic would take a bit more than just Everton and United.

Would have to get rid of the likes of City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham as well....

Even then you would fancy the likes of Southampton and Newcastle to mount a better challenge to Liverpool than Celtics rivals....

Managers always praise the opposition after beating them (and Sunderland don't have much practice at that).

We pushed the Champions elect to the edge, you lost a home banker.

Sunderland beat the champions elect (who had Agüero in their starting 11). We battered Sunderland for over 60 minutes whist only having 10 men, their goalkeeper was man of the match. Liverpool were lucky to get a draw aginst 10 man Newcastle.

True, but the point i was tryin to make was the matches against the teams we love to hate is a big part of were our passion comes from, wasnt tryin to compare the spl to the epl.
