Tan is a tool?

http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/25530074

"Cardiff chairman Mehmet Dalman has been instructed by owner Vincent Tan to appoint a new manager after the sacking of Malky Mackay, with the promise of extensive funds for his successor."

Really?

Lads, thats just out of spite. Might be good for the squad and Cardif City but come on. Sacking the manager who brought you success, going ape over spendings, saying he wouldnt get a penny for the winter transfer period. Then give the new manager to be a blank cheque.

Whats your thoughts?

I actually question how much the summer spending was a factor in Tan's decision to sack Mackay. It could have simply been an excuse to sack him simply because he did not get on with them, just like Cardiff's players were probably told to lose from the club's hierarchy to make the decision seem more rational. It didn't work.

It would have to be a desperate manager to take that job as you will be putting your credibility on the line because it's clear that Tan will continue to interfere and you may get results that make you look bad as a manager which were through very little fault of your own.

I would not be surprised if he manages that team one day, honestly that is where it is getting at these days.

Maybe. I also wonder why as an owner you want to alienate the fans?

The rumour is that it's about his ego, he did not like that Mackay was getting credit for the promotion instead of him.

It's an argument I'd probably go along with after seeing those cringey scenes after the Manchester City win where he decided to go down onto the park and hog the limelight from Malky and the players.

Tan's got short man ego syndrome, and comes from a kowtowing society - lethal combination.

I think the performances were affected by all the turmoil around the club. From what I know the players are good with Mackay and the situation got in their heads and affected their games.

That is the way to do it eh!!!! Get rid of Malky and bring in a bloke with no experience of Managing at this level (yes even Cardiff's level) what do you think now Mr Tan. 3 nil and counting by Swansea.
