I know he's an a$$hole and half the Chelsea team should have been sent off and we should have had at least one penalty, but the fact is he's untouchable. They all are. Blame the FA for that. Meanwhile:
Johnson was poor, albeit he nearly scored. He's been poor for a while but Rodgers doesn't seem to want to do anything about it.
Allen was poor
Henderson wasn't much cop, either
I forgot to mention Mignolet - he's a donkey
Why did Rodgers bring on Brad Smith?
Leading, naturally, to the questions it raises about the squad...who has he got to choose from that has the quality to take on the likes of City and Chelsea? We're stuck with who we have and up until Spurs it was working, but something's gone off since. We don't appear to be turning up lately.
We Can't Just Blame Webb

Then we have to spend in January and we have to get someone in with skill not the usual lemon Rodgers and his girl guides go for

Mourinho messed up in his interview then. He basically said Suarez should have been booked for diving regarding the Eto'o foul (), and then said "it is a clear pen, er, yellow card".
Stupid .

Wishi
GJ may not be playing wonderfully at the moment by he's he best RB we have. No question about it. All very well wanting someone better but at this moment in time that option doesn't exist.
Allen struggled today, no question about it. In all likelihood it'll be he who makes way for Stevie.
Henderson was ok I thought. Not great but ok. Undoubtedly getting studded in the knee after 2 mins will have impacted him a little....
Mignolet is not a donkey, what's wrong with you?! Two saves which he should have done better with and all of a sudden he's a donkey. Christ, he's been great for all but the last 2 games!

Yeah I noticed him being a donkey when he brilliantly tipped Lampard's drive over the bar. Then again the second half when spread himself like a donkey to deny Etoo.
Come on, the guy could have done better with a couple of shots. He made a mistake. Clemence used to make mistakes, Grobbelaar made mistakes. He still one trophies because as a team we were the best around.

Wishi, while I share your concern on Glenn, the fact of the matter is he is the best we've got in the circumstances. Chelsea, full marks to them appeared to target him and benefitted from it. They were the better team, despite their manager giving birth on the sidelines. On reflection, our team were far closer than the result shows. They played their hearts out until the end. No need for any motivational skills by BR. Put it behind us; bring on Hull on Wednesday. Time for retribution.

Sterling, I don't dispute that Mignolet makes some great saves, but sometimes...oh, I dunno. Anyway right now you can't claim we're best all round. Our defence is right cack-handed as well.
Jimmy, you know me and how I like to sound off. Looking forward to Wednesday already but I hope we can put two defeats on the hop behind us.
