Same old story

What the hell is going on.Haigh said yesterday that the takeover had nothing to do with transfers.Who is telling the truth. If McDermott had any gumption he would walk away from all this messing.

Two different parties involved. No one wants to stump up if they can help it while the buy-out's going through.
I wouldn't have new windows fitted if I knew I'd sold my house.

Ken Bates had new windows fitted in the East Stand and then sold the club

Not only are we an embarrassment on the pitch at the moment but we're rapidly becoming a laughing stock off it.

GFH were seen as the knights in shining armour when they removed Bates from power and were promoting their sustainable strategy for long term financial strategy. After only a few months in control they were seeking loans to meet the club's financial commitments after finding "holes" in the accounts. This after what seemed like the longest takeover in footballing history!

12 months on and Haigh (GFH) is selling the majority share of Leeds United to Haigh (Investment consortium) and we're still none the wiser.

The deal hasn't been done and as far as I'm aware hasn't yet been ratified by the authorities. The delays won't affect BM's transfer activity we were told. Clearly not the case if this latest piece of journalism is to be believed.

So much for having money in the club.... Another misleading statement. My belief is that the money in the club is in the form of short-term loans that are being converted to equity post the take over. If that is the case then there isn't much available for squad rebuilding.

Warnock set us back several years with his never-say-die mercenaries who collectively drain the club of much needed financial resource but create a squad that lacks quality and strength in depth.

I'm afraid that the much-lauded McDermott hasn't really done much to improve matters either even when you consider he has suffered like most of his predecessors with a lack of transfer funds. His 3-4-3 against Wednesday defied any kind of logic as indeed did his selection of Kebe who had little match practice of late. And didn't it show?

Rather than send out endless moronic tweets why doesn't the consortium come out and tell us what their real intentions are for this great club and when it's all likely to happen. I for one have had enough of spin from GFH and others and enough of owners going back to Bates who see this club as a cash cow expecting the supporters to fund their retirement whilst neglecting their responsibility to Leeds United.

Is that another GFH money making idea?
