Brown

One of our best players today ....... Always puts a shift in. Yh he's not a quality player but without him today we woulda lost the midfield battle.

He got lumps kicked out him 90 mins and carried on.

Dont think he should be playing we need better quality. But you can understand why BM played him today after last weeks debacle.

Nothing against his actual football performance today and he does still offer positives. I just wish he could play without the other stuff.

The "other" stuff breaks up play and is very synical. Lesta couldn't get there fluidity going because of what Brown did.

Blackburn did it to us and it does work. Not a regular but has proven he is vital in certain games.

He had a good game today, attracted all the physical abuse away from the younger players

You don't play Brown and expect him to make scintilating runs or 60 yard telling passes. What you do play him for is to break up opposition attacks and put a foot in. This he does arguably better than anyone else. Today's CM of Austin and Brown is arguably the best we have.

Time for Murphey & Mowatt to take a few notes and see what they need to do to get back in the starting XI

we always have this against us ..... as much as i dont think he shouldnt be anywhere near leeds, he does put a shift in and does the nasty stuff we need to show spesh playing the top teams in the league
