The deafening silence from Salah Nooruddin, David Haigh, and Salem Patel with regard to the takeover would suggest they have been gagged by GFH. This along with the recent outburst from Andrew Flowers publicly condemning GFH would suggest that the Sport Capital bid has gone belly up.
That leaves Massimo Cellino and the Farnan Consortium in the hunt.
So two questions.
1. Who would you prefer to end up owning Leeds?
2. Who do you think will end up owning Leeds?
The Takeover: Who Do You Prefer?

Eric,
1. He's moved on a lot managers, which he employed in the first place. If they weren't good enough, shows that his ability to choose a good manager and to trust them is poor.
2. Correct there. I'm assuming he doesn't and going on the statement by Flowers. I'll take that one back though
3. He's proven the law with money before. He's not trustworthy and it should rightly stay with him what he's done in the past. I'm not happy putting money into a club run by someone convicted of fraud.
4. This is all based on rumours. But they have been along the lines of 'he's going to sign X player once he takes over. But I'll give you that
5. Not saying my opinion needs to be taken into account by prospective owners, obviously...don't be so petty. Just that it'd be a reason that I don't want him to take over.
6. That's a question. How much money does he actually have? Is he going to buy back the training ground, stadium and get in some player? Or is he just as skint as GFH? We don't need another set of owners who don't have the funds to take us forward.
He's a convicted criminal, has made poor decisions employing managers and might not actually have the funds to take us forward.

Let's not dwell on his good points though.....

Sorry if it came across as pedantic, but when you title a list Reasons that I wouldn't want Cellino: and then proceed to list six items, the sixth being "How much money does he actually have?" I just naturally take that as one of your reasons.
Had you simply put "He's a convicted criminal, has made poor decisions employing managers and might not actually have the funds to take us forward" I would have agreed with you.
Still eh? as Jonty quite rightly points out why dwell on his good points..!
Personally I reckon it would be, how can I put this without sounding negative, I know, interesting. Yes that's the word, if Cellino gets the club.

Would Cellino actually pass the League's ' fit and proper' test in view of his criminal record and pending court cases? he might want to buy the club but may not be allowed to.

It would definitely be interesting Eric, I'm in two minds about it really. He could be loaded and seemed to invest lots in his Italian team. Just his criminal record and dealings with managers that worry me.

Best.
Listen, I'm as hopeful as you that we'll get a knight in shining armour walk through the door having arrived on a white charger. I really hope he (or she) is a Leeds United fan from birth, a right royal all round good egg, with more money than any club could ever wish for and a habit of showering the club with it.
But, and I say this purely from a personal amusement point of view, a small part of me hopes we get Captain Bertorelli and his family along with their cash..! The mirth levels on here would rise to new levels.
A certain dreary, who currently makes me chuckle on a daily basis, would go into overdrive and his head might explode showering his little munchkin friends with mush...!
