So What Do You Think Will Happen Next?

1.The Cellino bid to buy Leeds succeeds.

or

2. The Farnan/Flowers combo bid succeeds.

or

3. Both bids fail and GFH are left looking for investors.

Also

If 1 what will be the situation for Leeds this time next year?

If 2 what will be the situation for Leeds this time next year?

If 3 what will be the situation for Leeds this time next year?

I'm pretty sure we can rule out 3, it's obvious GFH want to sell, probably due to the big losses they are making.

Cellino would be preference if he
1) Keeps BM as manager
2) Lets BM pick his own players to buy
3) Has more financial backing than the consortium

As to what I think will happen, I think the consortium will buy us because I'm not sure Cellino will pass FL regulations. he's already failed the FPP twice, and after this weekend he'll be under more scrutiny.

What will be the situation next year? I don't think anyone can predict that.

I think option 2) will be the outcome. However I hope for option 1).My fear is that the joint consortium bid will succeed but not have the funds to take us forward once they have done so. I'm afraid that if they need a joint consortium it raises question marks over their level of financial clout.

It's a rock and a hard place scenario for us because there are risks on both outcomes. To continue with GFH is a one way ticket to administration in my opinion.

Yeah it's confusing how Farnans consortium is joining with Flowers (and probably Haigh) when Farnan claims he has had proof of funding, and is backed by capable/able people.

Why does Farnan need Flowers?
Financial reasons? Perhaps having Haigh on board means they can speak with GFH(I believe they have been blocked in doing so, so far?)

Flowers/Farnan is the safe option, but may not have much in terms of money.
Cellino is risky, due to last weekend, and how he sees managers (sacks them far to easily, and refers to them as coaches). But he might have more money

2 will happen and be the best thing for Leeds!!!

Cellino for me. BM to earn his stay of execution or head out of ER.

Flowers has money in the club hence his involvement.

Cellino is the only one serious at the moment. All the others are just making noises, waiting to argue with one another how much each one puts in.They can't even agree on that to start with,so investing later on if they bought the club would be a nightmare. They had plenty of time to put in and do a serious bid.Cellino did not hang around and wanted the deal. The others are just playing around, probably waiting for us to get into a situation where the current owners have to give it away to them.

Apparently Cellino has been granted approval by the FL.

Cellino is my choice, but I think he'll get rid of Mickydee......honestly, we can't afford to wait for Mickydee to come good, like he keeps saying about his signings.

15 wins in 36 games is not appealing.

GFH are playing one consortium against a solo buyer, they better be carefull it doesn't go belly up on'em.

It will probably be 2 or 3 and if so we will remain out of the EPL for another 10 years because neither is willing or able to invest the required amount in players.

I said 10 years...........sorry I meant forever because the rich will get richer and the poor will cease to exist down the track.

Its gotta be 1. or someone else with Cellino's wealth

Some people had better realise very quickly that regardless of who or what Cellino is,we will be in serious trouble if this keeps dragging on.Only he has put in a serious bid,all the others are scratching around. Is that what we want from potential owners,or someone that is big enough, strong enough and dares to get the business done rather than talking a lot and doing nothing. You are right Viduka we may languish in the lower leagues forever because we want nice guys to own us,and afraid to take the chance when it comes along,a chance we have all been wanting. It may not be ideal. But hey...Who says life is perfect.
