Get past the "nice fella"tag

I doubt BM will last long when Cellino takes over, seasons end at most.

BM's track record is probably one of the worst in Championship, Readings promotion is the only thing stopping it being a shambles.

BM is not the manager to take Leeds forward in my opinion.

Let's be realistic here, you're looking for a manager to get your team promoted; BM turns up with a resume that says sacked from every club he's managed.........what do you do?

Fans need to get past the "he's a nice fella" tag and remember there's a team we're supporting.

Personally, I don't think BM is the person he makes himself out to be or comes across as; he was privy to GFH's intentions in regards to not getting promoted for at least 2 years, which GFH it seems had no intentions of achieving cos GFH were skint from word go, BM would'ave known this.

Right now, a similar thing is happening with Cellino, fans are starting to look past his bad boy tags for the sake of the club and team.

Cellino wants prem football, then probably Euro football, he ain't going to get it by not spending anything or very little.

Untill Cellino officially takes over, there's not much he can do other than express what he wants/will do.

Flowers virtually handed ownership of LUFC to Cellino himself when he sought a winding up partition, then pulled out of the race.

Flowers claimed to be a staunch LUFC fan.............yeah right.

Cellino seems to get done what he wants done.

The best manager we've had for some time. The squad is poor due to lack of investment. Don Revie couldn't have squeezed blood from this stone of a squad we've got. Be careful what you wish for. You haven't a clue what nightmare manager he might appoint. God only knows.

He had 1 million to spend on Murphy and still hasn't beaten Warnock. Only difference is he is an honest man and Neil wasn't.

He's 8th in a list of Championship manager's according to win ratio (41.7%) and 13th on points per game (1.42).

How does that mean his record is 'one of the worst in Championship'?

'I don't think BM is the person he makes himself out to be or comes across as'

I don't quite understand what you have against the man?

I think B McD,will be kept on at least for the remainder of the season to see where he finishes. But if he's here next season it will be very different, any little bad run and I think he's gone.I like McDermot, but to be honest any other manager that just went through the type of run we just had, would have gone from a lot of clubs.

So far he's won 16 games out of 37.

That gap will never get smaller, but can get bigger.

If he wins the next 4 games that'll be 20 out of 41, less than 50%, that is not promotion form.

I look at his signings, his statement, his very very close relationship with Ross, his formations, how he gets us to play.

8 games without a win and he would'ave been sacked elsewhere, so would some other managers; but GFH were probably to scared to do it.

BM would'ave been privy to a lot of ongoings by GFH, including not wanting promotion.

BM talks about being more driven now after being reinstated, where was that drive before?

The players beat udders 5-1, played a brilliant second half, how come they didn't play like that before; performances all season haven't been great.

It's easy to make excuses for someone you like, but there is a reality.

Fans are now starting to look past the bad boy image of Cellino and realise the team and club come first.

I'm probably looking at different things to what you and some others look at Radebe

16 out of 37 percentage wise, is greater than 20 out of 41 percentage wise.

The percentage rate will go up and down over the remaining of the season depending on how many more we win and lose.........I doubt we're going to win every remaining game, even under Cellino.

16/37= 0.432
20/41= 0.488

16 wins out of 37 = 43.24%
20 wins in 41 = 48.78%

21 non wins in 37 = 56.75% not counting draws
21 non wins in 41 = 51.21% not counting draws

Depends which way a person wants to look at it.

Well obviously "win" against "no win" will always add up to 100%.

Was just trying to show that..."16 out of 37 percentage wise, is greater than 20 out of 41 percentage wise."......isn't correct.

However, I don't really look at the figures as a negative against the manager. The squad he took over was average, and the summer activity not enough to take us to serious top 6 contenders.

Looking back at last season, and we couldn't maintain our "average" 1st half to the season. Whether that was typical Leeds or down to the loss of Becchio I'm not sure. If the Becchio departure was a major cause, then the task of getting us anywhere near promotion standard was even tougher.

I wasn't attacking you Sir Ken, was looking at it differently that's all.

I was looking at the number of games we didn't win, including draws.

My apologies if it created the wrong impression.
