We were also all confused about if it takes longer to boil an egg up Mount everest, as water boils at a lower temperature the higher up you go.
The boiling point decreases 1 °C every 285 m of elevation, and on Everest water boils at 69 degrees, apparently...

My tip for scrammbled eggs is add a spoonful of butter towarsds the end or even some double cream if you fancy a heart attack.

Mmmm scrambled egg (or even better, omlette) is to die for with double cream! I always add butter and a splash of milk, but ran out of milk one day and never looked back! Oh, and a generous splash of Worcester sauce..............
