Was rumoured this is why they refused to sell him back to us because they'd only of got something like 3million where as they wanted 7+. Its seems they cut off their own hand to spite their face. I guess he had value to them when he was gna play under his father but since his sacking he must of been refusing to play or something ? I heard it was 40-45 %

That makes no sense, whether they sell him to us or someone else is irrelevant.

If we put in a 7 million pound bid they would get £4-5m and we we recoup the rest. If someone else put in a 7 million pound bid they would get £4-5m and we we recoup the rest.

The only difference is it would seem like we have £4-5m leaving our accounts whereas another club would have the full £7m.

Also most reports suggest it was more like 30% rather than 45%, that figure does seem steep.

I know they cant even get a metaphor right...

I would have thought that there would have been no time limit on his contract; Blackpool weren't going to give him away free. I don't think Tom Ince was or is the quality that we seek. A simple test: who would you drop from the current team/squad to make way for him. I rest my case.

They won't get nothing because he is under 24. They will get some compensation but not much, and I assume we will get a bit of that.

They didn't turn down bids either. It's Ince they will be annoyed with because they accepted a bid from Cardiff in the summer and he turned it down.

It's the player who has cost them money with his demands.

Well, you know what they say - a bird in the bushes is worth two in the hand.

Actually I prefer to be in a hotel when I have a bird. Who knows what lurks in the bushes not to mention doing it in the bush will leave you itchy all over.
