Great , Just great ,the one trophy we could possibly win ( The FA cup) , as long as city get knocked out in a Saturday tea time game at a cold and gloomy Wigan or Forrest ....... and it looks like the Arsenal reserves will be on display. I'd rather us put the reserves out against Munich because at least we have an excuse when we get hammered. If the rumors are true and we do put out a soft team against Liverpool and get knocked out of the cup then the season is over once again ........ bring on 4th place .

Reserves vs the pool

I think it extremely unlikely that we'll see any sort of repeat of last weekend. Clearly Liverpool played excellently, but I think it is improbable that they would have dominated to the same extent had they not scored so early. It was clear against United midweek that Arsenal we making a concerted effort to keep the tempo slow, and settle into the game ensuring not to make silly mistakes in the opening minutes of the match so as to avoid a repeat, and I'm sure we'll see that approach today too.
Another contributing factor would be the Anfield crowd - the early goal just ramped up the atmosphere even further and which pushed on Liverpool even more. Clearly that won't be the case away from home.
I reckon it will be a close game this time around, very hard to call at this stage while it's still hard to gauge lineups.

Arsenal did make a silly mistake in the first minute against Utd though.
Van Persie just missed.

All talk for now let's wait to see the teams, I need to know to see which way to bet
I don't think Wenger will want to lose to us so soon after the heavy defeat last week and I believe it will influence his selection
