..... why do we sign quality forwards like Rebrov, Postiga & Soldado and turn them into average players ?

Because we do not sign the striker to suit our tactics. We needed a strong frontman to play at top on his own for AVB, someone more like a lukaku, instead we spend a fa c king fortune on a soldado who is more of a number ten like keano
Seriously who the fack makes these desicions at spurs

Rebrov - I think we effed scouting and thought we were getting Shevchenko!
Postiga - Pretty sheet
We mess up all the time because we do not buy what we need and buy what is a perceived to be a player at a good price for sell on value.
How many years were we looking for NEW STRIKER?
Has been like that for years.

Berbatov was a great signing

Can we honestly say that Soldado was the quality striker that Spurs fans were proclaiming.
Yes he scored lots of goals in la liga - but Kevin Phillips scored lots of goals in the Prem

He'll come good. 20+ goals a season for the last four and 10 goals in 26 this year. I think he needs a good run of games and a boost in confidence. Play him against Norwich, he'll score.

Soldado scored a lot of pens in La Liga.

Finding a good striker that actually fits your teams requirements is hard these days with so many rich teams hovering up the talent. You can spend 50m and that player might flop or you could spend 5m and that player might be a success.

The team yesterday wasn't particularly good and was never getting the best out of Soldado anyway. Where was the creativity? Dembele and Eriksen are proving to be starters.
I know it sounds like I'm making excuses but Soldado really only had that one good chance and little else, and it's true it did take a bit of a bobble.
The more we create for him the more chance he's going to score. You just need to have the right players around him.
