Based on his overall game play. He is a more talented player. Ba is a worker for sure and does score some crackers but overall not of the same quality. For me anyway.

Jose liked Shevchenko at first too, even though he didn't score, but because he helped the team. Drogba had one of his most prolific seasons when Sheva's first joined. Whereas Torres doesn't help anybody. Eto'o, while not great as he was, still provides more intangibles than Torres and Ba.

Sorry but I don't see the correlation between Ba and a football player.

What I would like is an English striker at the club who did the business. Too early for Bamford though so Johnny Foreigner it is likely to be.

The decision to loan out Lukaku still mystifies me, why we let Everton have his services for the season while we bought the woeful Eto'o in and pay him gawd know how much a week flabbergasts me!

Many on here expressed our fears about him before we saw him in a Blue shirt - that doubt has been vindicated for me unfortunately!

Ba does deserve a chance. We have never given Ba a real chance and I do think he will do much better than the other 2 given he has the same amount of time to prove himself

I hope to see the back of all three of them in the summer!

I could understand the clamour for Ba if he looked the part when he came in but he just disappears for Ninty minutes or until he's substituted and put out of his misery!

Ba has had more than enough chances just like every other striker we have ATM. None are good enough I guess. Ba is the only one that looks like a newborn giraffe when he runs though. Not good enough.

Exactly. I cant tell you how many times I've seen Ba step left with his right foot and then right with his left foot immediately after and then the ball coming off of his hip or collarbone and nearly scoring. If Ba doesnt take a tumble after a shot its not going in.
