I just thought I'd tell u all how I got on last week in the box against Swansea! AMAZING!!!! It truly is (for a normal human being) a once in a lifetime experience!!! Our box was about 3 from the score board next to skirtles, it truly is how the other half live. I believe the cost is 4grand a game. Breakfast dinner open bar and waiter service it truly was the stuff of dreams. The view from the balcony was spot on. And as I looked down at all the paupers looking back at me in the box I couldn't help thinking that theselot don't know I'm just a thick truck driver from st Helens lol. Anyway I truly hope you lot get the chance one day it's unforgettable. Ps the game wasn't bad either was it 😊😊😊

lfcsaint, i dont know what you thought but i have found the following:
(before i say it, i must state that my dads a match commentator (greek tv) and when i use to go to matches with him i sat in the gantry (Liverpool vs Olympiakos 3-1) and have courtside seats at panathinaikos bball, but often buy tickets and stand with the ultras for the following)
in the box/gantry/courtside you enjoy the actual match a lot more because you have immensely better seats than 95% of everyone else in the stadium however you miss out a bit on the "fun of the crowd". what i mean is, you cant really (at least i find it weird) stand and chant away when youre in the gantry/courtside/in the box as freely as you can when youre in the actual stands.
However, in the stands you can join in a lot easier, cause everyone else around you is-but you dont have as good a view as the box etc
I genuinely buy tickets for the crowd on matches with 75% capacity (at panathinaikos basketball) just because you get the joy of the chanting as well, which i feel awkward doing on the actual court.

I personally was lucky I went with 10 colleges who I get on with so this created an atmosphere of its own but. When one of our party had enjoyed the bar a little bit and got passionate we felt we had to tell him to wind it in a bit which was unfortunate but Mrs skirtle had her and friends kids in with her

Don't worry about the Skrtels. I've seen them out in Belle Vale shopping centre and that place is like the bar off Star Wars.

Great news that you enjoyed it lfc, it's pointless being envious, the task is to get there and savour the day the same as you did. My family took me to one of our last EC games, StevieG scored, the atmosphere was beyond description.
Great t hear you enjoyed it lfc, hope you get back there again, many times.
