On pure entertainment value.
They have been brilliant to watch.
On pure entertainment Chelsea deserves mid table.
Unfortunately Chelsea will win the league. Sorry Liverpool.
Liverpool deserves to win the league

Liverpool have to beat City and Chelsea at home
------------------------------
Something they are more than capable of doing. City's away form has been quite poor this season anyway.
Also Liverpool will be much fresher with only the Premiership to concentrate on. City are fighting on several fronts by comparison so will be much less fresh.
As for us our lack of good striker will probably catch up with us eventually. We can only rely on the likes of Hazard and Schurrle for so long.

it's possible
but ask the bookies what the odds are of winning both
they won't give you good odds

The bookies are giving odds of 5/1 for Liverpool to win the title which is well worth a punt in my opinion.

agreed worth a punt
5/1 is a decent gamble

They were 8/1 and I only see those odds shortening.

I'm not unhappy about that
but until the odds get to 2/1 or even <1 (8/9) I'm not getting confident
we're still very much dark horses

They haven't lost away in any competition since November. This City are poor away line is getting a bit old.

Also if we get past Gala Superb i don't think the extra games will be as big a deal as you think.
We have a nice little knack for playing dogzhit and still winning, which will come in handy.

I think the extra games will be more of a burden to City than us. That was really my point.
Worst case scenario for City is they go to extra time in tomorrow's League Cup Final and then it's a tricky game at the Camp Nou as well as more FA Cup games.
Our problem isn't really the fixtures it's our total reliance on Hazard and lack of quality striker. A big concern for me.
Liverpool have none of these worries. If Suarez gets injured they've still got Sturridge and vica-versa. Not to mention Gerrard who looks in good form at the moment.
I'd say that the pendulum is more in Liverpool's favour than people realise.

Our defence is key, if we carry on our CS run off post christmas, then we should get away with it.
