If a criminal is caught preparing a crime, they still go to jail for conspiracy to commit a crime, in most cases. Higgins is on tape planning to throw matches. The only reason he was banned for 6 months and not years is that the matches fell outside WSA jurisdiction. The WSA did not bring the match fixing charges, therefore the tribunal could not consider them.

Planning to throw matches is what got Hann banned for years. Higgins is a lucky boy (and a greedy boy).

Yeah, and it's nonsense. The official report explains why Higgins was let off. It says it believes Higgins' story about the Mafia. I am serious. That's what the OFFICIAL report states as its conclusion- that Higgins was in fear for his life (as he laughs and jokes).

The fact he was banned for 6 months for failing to report an approach should make you lose all respecy for him. Why doesn't it?

That wasn't what the official report stated. It stated that it accepted the video evidence, but that John was in fear for his life. If the official investigation thought what you say, it would have noted it.

Yeah, but that doesn't change the fact he should have been banned for longer. Like Hann.

Or Stephen Lee ! So Daniel ........... lets talk Premier League darts, Has Taylor finally gone? Or will he come back as good as ever, Whitlock has gone down the pan, so has Lewis in the last 2 weeks.

You can never write Taylor off. It's been done so many times before. I think he is losing some of his motivation, but when he gets hungry again, it's going to be fun to watch. Maybe too late for Prem League, but don't count him out.
