I'm not sure (assuming he's fit) Hitzlsberger would be the worst move. Yes, he got relegated with the spammers but so did some others that could do a job in the Prem. I only see him as a short term midfield cover option - especially for the Sandro/Wilson role.

I don't think he is worth taking up a place in our 25man squad though. We are already overloaded with squad/fringe players.

On the other hand maybe we are doing him a favour. I don't think any of our staff have any connection with him though.
