Ouch

From Sporting Intelligence

sportingintelligence @sportingintel
@Guysley_ @ConnorJamesLaw @TheSquareBall Not guessing anything: the situation is dire and getting worse by the week.

GFH might well already have recouped their outlay; and they're not putting any more money in.

The club is now effectively trading insolvent; if Cellino does not get the green light, crisis time

I am told by people who should know that if Cellino deal fails then admin is round the corner.

Not only that: finances so bad club could be in big £ trouble even before decision, without new £

But I expect this will become obvious within a week or two, perhaps a lot sooner, ie: days

As they are not prepared to put any more money in - as they haven't for months - de facto they ARE prepared to

Cellino HAS been funding club. But not any more unless deal happens. Situation now critical, as will be clear soon

well haigh says its all nonsense. Interesting that he would say that, usually if theres anything in the off he disappears of twitter for weeks or carrys on tweeting about things unrelated...

I disagree - he appears when something is in the off and disappears when it go t/ts up.

The fact he's tweeting means he's either expecting things to be ok or he's trying to deflect the flak before it all goes wrong - buying himself time to think of his next move.

What is interesting is the lack of anything from anyone else involved with GFH.

Haigh might actually turn out to be the one who has kept things afloat from the Mail:

Haigh has told friends he has been left high and dry by the GFH hierarchy while he has tried single-handedly to keep Leeds afloat by finding new loans and investors. This includes putting £1.5million into the club himself.
The disintegration in relationships since GFH agreed a deal with Cagliari owner Cellino to take a 75 per cent stake has been quick.

Personally I think Haigh is firmly at the centre of this disaster. A confirmed egotist who seeks to promote himself in all things positive at Leeds United and goes missing when things go sour.

Only can only hope that when we find some stability he's no longer associated with this club.

Lots of people on here whipping themselves up into a frenzy over all this.

Why don't we just wait and see what comes of the ownership (debacle).

I'm in the office in the centre of Leeds. Sun is shining in the sky, there's not a cloud in sight. It's stopped raining, everybody's in the lane - and don't you know, it's a beautiful new day.

I seriously hope disaster (admin) doesn't darken our door again, but surely lets wait to see the outcome of the fit and proper test before doing Cpl Jones impressions?!?!?!?

So if he has been the one keeping the club afloat whilst GFH have washed their hands of us will you feel the same?

It might turn out we could have been in admin already if not for him.

I'm not saying it's true but if it is then he deserves some respect surely?

To be honest I'm not sure who to believe these last few weeks. On one hand you have thesquareball raking up anything they can to prove that they know we are in deep kak and about to get into bed with Bates, Haigh denying it and the fans picking over the scraps of info trying to make some sense of it all.

It's doing my head in!

Stoopo ..... and for the reasons you make (i.e. rumour on top of rumour, from varying sources), is why i'll wait (nervously i admit) for the outcome of the FL assessment of Cellino.

Worrying times yes, but personally i'd rather wait until we know whats happened before finding the nearest building ledge to jump off..............
