I dont think i'll ever make it to face my family and friends if i was shot and killed while in the bathroom by a guy with no legs

to an extent gm crops are just as likely to be our downfall..

in America most farmers are abandoning gm seed due to overuse of roundup ready crops, weeds have become resistant to glysophate creating super weeds which take a lot more chemicals to kill than weeds in the rest of the world. this in turn will be harmful to our health..

also the massive agri-companies like Monsanto are trying to get gm pushed through based on insufficient testing, and rather than funding proper tests they spend all their time and money debunking independent investigation in to gm with questionable science..

one experiment showed that vows digestive systems have changed in Argentina where they are fed soley on gm produce, because they couldn't argue the science Monsanto had the paper withdrawn through legal challenges and have tied it, and the writers up in litigation and lawsuits so it cannot be re-published. it would takeovers for any legal challenges tp be resolved by which time the eu may well have passed gm laws.

Nature will apways find a way to thin the herd. I woupd expect the next Aids type virus to pop up in the next 10-15 years.
