Often the team that wins the playoffs is a team that has a great run in the last 8-10 games. Reading, Blackpool and palace are all examples of this in the past. So now is a very good time to start winning. I think Wigan May have peaked slightly too early, I am not sure if Ipswich or Brighton have it in them to go on a great run (could be wrong though). Reading are certainly capable of a great run and derby have already proved they are too.
Love billy or hate him (or somewhere in between) he is certainly capable of getting us on a great run. If we can do that we could hit the play offs running. Something we have not done in the championship before. If we fail to do that I think we could be in trouble. If we scrape though I think our chances are not as good (though we would have players back).
We have some pretty winnable home fixtures and have proved we are often difficult to beat away so it's definitely possible. We need a bit of luck, a few players back and some momentum but it's set up for us I think. We have had our blip at a good time. A good home win Saturday sets us right up for it!
COYR!
A good time for a great run

The last time we qualified for the end of season lottery we where outside the top 6 in April and Went on a decent run and won our last 5 games of the season to secure our place, our run in on paper isn't too bad and all of our remaining home games are all winnable

On the other hand, if Reading beat Derby and Wigan win only one of their games in hand, Forest will be out of the play-offs

Well if that happens Ramdini, your lot will be a lot closer to the playoff exit too. Don't get too cocky about our form.

Only pointing out the facts. I don't think we'll beat Reading. I hope so but...................
I think Wigan will dominate the play-offs. Derby will stay there as will QPR. Forest ???

Facts are things that HAVE happened or HAVE been proven. How do you prove the future?

Big game tomorrow. I can see Wigan and reading both winning

Wigan are on a good run but Forest or Derby could beat them. 4-1 looked emphatic but we gifted them the first three and missed a couple of decent chances at 1-1. It also took a missed penalty by Sheff W to secure the three points against them.

Regardless of whatever any other team does, if we can start winning games again (Reid is back so why not?) we'll finish in the top 6. Let's start tomorrow Forest, a nice 2-0 win will make me very happy.

I think it's very dangerous for any of us to get too cocky!
To be perfectly honest, after the years of misery the Rams have endured, I'm delighted just to be talking about the playoffs.
There is no expectation at Derby, unlike for some clubs that have spent big on wages and fees.
I'll be quite happy to follow the likes of Cardiff and Leicester who built over a number of years before finally reaching Mecca!
Exciting eh?
