Can it get any worse?

No, I honestly don't think it could!

Team is performing as poorly as I can remember.

Morale at an all time low. Peltier, it would seem, wants to be anywhere but here.

Beaten by Rochdale, whooped by the Wendies, Bolton, Reading and Bournemouth. All major names in the modern football game.

We can rest easy though because through the entire process our Brian has had a few nice chats, is trying to get the team to play a certain way and probably, if we can string a few results together, sees a late assault on the play-offs.

Not his fault that the tactics aren't working. Not his fault that the players don't understand a system that employs wingbacks and wingers but no commanding central striker. Not his fault that he doesn't see substitutions as being anything other than something of a last resort and only in the last 5 minutes. Not his fault that team selections are poor. Not his fault that hoofball has returned. Not his fault full stop. After all, he never had these problems at Reading did he?

McDermott is doing a great impression of a Teflon saucepan with as much tactical know how to boot.

We've got owners who have us but don't want us and a man who wants us but can't have us.

The mysterious bidders in the waiting haven't yet materialised but I'm assured that they are there........, somewhere.

In the meantime lots of huff and puff about who is going to pay the wage bill. Our esteemed owners don't think it should be them. They are looking to the man who isn't allowed to own us. Anyone but them eh?

And if you thought there couldn't be any more angles to this long running farce, Master Bates makes an opportune appearance to tell us that GFH isn't going the club any good. That's the safe pair of hands he was telling us about just over a year ago were a good bet to take this club forward.

Better still, Master Bates was going to lend his good friend Flowers a small matter of £1.5 million to buy the club before that particular bid was scuppered. I expect to see more of Bates in the coming weeks, he's like a shark smelling blood from a distance. Well, from the offices above Subway across the road.

It can't get any worse. We're a bit like an injured stag caught in a trap. Occasionally a flurry of activity when it realises that it might have a chance of escape but generally lying there, wounded and expecting the final kill to take place anytime soon. Well, if recent performances are anything to go by that is exactly where we are.

No, it can't get any worse. And that is a positive!

We've been in administration before. We came out with various penalties but we did come out. We've not much in terms of talent to lose so no great shakes there. We've been in the third tier before so bring it on.

We are still Leeds United. That won't change. The muppets running the club will soon be gone. The manager is obviously in his final strait, even he can't survive this despite being a very nice man. The players, well I'm laughing at the description, they can go to. With a few notable exceptions they've generally been an embarrassment to this club and don't deserve to besmirch the good name of our club any further.

Like a phoenix from the ashes we will rise again.

And I expect 3 points on Saturday. Well, one can dream eh?

Baggieman in peace...

To be honest, I for one cannot believe what has happened, and still is happening, and like to continue, to a once proud club.

It seems to me the only immediate future you have although grey, is somehow to get rid of the looneys who are currently in charge of your club, go back to basics and lower your immediate aspirations until you can grow slowly but strongly and surely to eventually make a challenge for the Premiership.

It certainly ain't going to happen overnight (short of a billionaire Shiekh coming along) and may take ten years but you need an honest, prudent, sensible and realistic owner/s dare I say it, like Jeremy Peace at WBA who has just declared a £6m proifit for the last year.

Stability is the word for Leeds United and I wish you well.

Hopefully it gets worse this weekend when little Donny visit the hallowed shrine and leave with three points.
