As long as we finish 3rd it's been a fantastic season for us to progress from.

No real pressure on us.

Yeah, team delivered incredibly well on the pitch and surely we are into the CL now, hope to confirm that on Sunday.

Time for the board/owners to back the manager in the transfer window now, and they owe him from failure in previous windows. Massively important we strengthen big time if we are to continue progressing.

Which failures, Neo? Brendan has repeatedly said that the owners have backed him throughout. It is clear, from the January non-signings that LFC had set a price on their targets, prices they weren't going to break. There hasn't been a single instance or suggestion that there is dissent in the ranks due to lack of funds. Long may it continue. And, more importantly, Brendan has said he wants to promote from within first before spending cash on outside players.

I'm not buying that, you've got yourselves into a great position and are the form team atm, brendan won't be looking to finish 3rd.

And he's exuding quiet confidence in his press conferences, saying all the right things. There's nothing to suggest he's feeling the pressure....

Of course the players and manager won't be happy with 3rd now because we are so close to better.

Doesn't change the fact we have no pressure on us though other than the pressure they put on themselves.

Nobody with any sense is going to say Liverpool have failed if they finish 3rd.

Can the same be said of Chelsea and Man City?

If (and we should) finish in a CL place, I'll consider this season a great success, anything else would be a bonus.
Start of the season, if you had offered me fourth place I would have snatched your hand off.
Players, manager, and owners, have exceeded my hopes this season; not only in the position we are in, but in the way we have been playing too.

at this stage would anyone but whilst we know we've got the team to go anywhere and play to win, we had clear expectations for this season and they've been exceeded already.
