...at the Greyhound races. Wise idea to use or not?

You mean the BAGS computer dividend forecast?
Suppose you have more chances of winning it but usually the payout is thin on the ground compared to the Tote on the horses.
Which meeting are you looking at?

was at kinsley dogs on friday, last race could have sworn i saw 5/2 on the screen at the time, but won considerably less and a strange amount back. Checked the sp today (not that means anything in relation to my query). Anyway someone today said i was probably betting on the dividend/pool thing, but dont really understand the benefit/disadvantage

If you placed your wager off course then yes you're placing a bet on the BAGS, bit like the tote in HR,
Was the dog called Roan Pepsi? Definite SP was 5/2.
I only use the tote for the placepot or forecasts.
Win only bets are usually very poor returns on the tote.

Sir
I've been loads of times to Kinsley, and if your backing one dog in a race, go outside to the book
I just do reverse forecasts on every race inside on the tote
But the tote prices are just indications and because
Most people who go are just betting on anything, the final price could really be any thing.
I've seen odds on favourites returning at 3/1 and outsiders being evens
You go on groupon ???

looks like i messed up then. Yeah it was on groupon, but its a cheap enough night anyway on a friday.

Think I once got 50/1 on reverse forecast, it really is just pot luck
I normally go on groupon but once went posh and did the three course meal for £25 where you get private bar and private betting
And the food was superb, top quality

On a brighter note, there's a greyhound called United Leeds, it won today down at Sheffield! Romped home at 7/2.

"Was the dog called Roan Pepsi?"
No it was Bit View Verdi.
"On a brighter note, there's a greyhound called United Leeds, it won today down at Sheffield! Romped home at 7/2."
That's all I go on the name, so would have had that one, honestly. Or maybe I'd have expected it giving up half way.
