I know, I know...
But here me out! Is fourth place a slight possibility?
Arsenal, who are currently in fourth position, are 10 points ahead at the moment but aren't in that great form...
They play their nearest rivals for fourth, Everton, this weekend. A draw would put us in a great position going into the final few matches!!
Remaining United fixtures:
Newcastle (A)
Everton (A)
Norwich (H)
Sunderland (H)
Hull (H)
Southampton (A)
All seemingly 'winnable'.
Ever the optimist....... x
Is fourth a possibility?!?!?!?!

Forget the league. Rest everyone for Bayern.
The best thing that could happen to us is not qualifying for Europa league. More chance next season in PL and disastrous results may see Moyes replaced sooner.
I am not really in the sack Moyes now brigade as such but I do kind of think now it probably would be the best option as even if he gets some good players in and we compete which I think he is capable of, I am not sure he can win us trophies. A few third places, runners up would not be good enough IMO.
Having said all that I do feel a little sorry for the guy.

Sadly Bayern can afford to do the same.

Yes that's true French, but we need to really give it a go. Same tactics I expect with a hope of hitting them on the break. Would like to see Jones in CM instead of Fellaini if Smalling is fit

Don't think the counter attack will work. They had 75% possession at our place whilst TRYING to score...
Imagine the possession % they could get knowing they don't need to score?

No it is not possible.

We probably will beta Newcastle. Even if our players all go out on the lash tonight, they ought to win tomorrow.

No, its not impossible..., mathematically.
But I think the best you'll get is 5th or 6th. I find the comments inferring Man U are "too good" for the Europa competition is a pretty poor show. Many clubs would welcome the opportunity to play in Europe so that arrogance only makes the fans unpopular.
