New manager?

If BM gets the sack who would you bring in?

Someone suggested Michael Laudrup.
I think that's a very good shout. He's played
In Italy and so knows the mentality of a Cellino
Type and I'm pretty sure he speaks Italian.
Oh and he tries to play football the right way.
I reckon he'd be good. Whoever suggested him earlier
nice one

Laudrop would be an excellent choice in my opinion far better than Srachan

Cellino gets through 'coaches' at the rate of 1.8 per year. I doubt Strachan would want to give up a cushy little number as Scotland manager for a 6.7 month stint as Cellino's puppet!

Hughton would be another McDermott. Not for Leeds United.

Laudrup would be a cracking capture, a real statement.

I think Festa will soon be in, as caretaker only.

Brian McDermott will go elsewhere and probably be a success. This job proved too difficult for him, nice bloke and all, his confidence went with all the turmoil. The job proved too big for him. I wish him well.

Folk have to understand, this is Leeds United. If they come here as a manager they'll see we are a demanding lot and there is a pressure.

All the big clubs have it.

It is going to be interesting seeing how Mr Cellino copes with the pressure too.

Cellino will love it!

"The job proved too big for him".....

that's been the same story for every manager at ER for the last decade... poisoned chalice.

I'd be happy with any manager who signs players who have the courage to play the ball in midfield... I'd even be happy to take McAllister back and give him another chance.

We're never gonna get promoted with these scared kittens and headless chickens we currently have in midfield.

I'm not having a go at McDermott either, he made what were on paper very decent signings, but they've turned out kak.

Massimo..

I think you can go back further, there's only been three big enough, Jock Stein, Brian Clough and Howard Wilkinson - Since Don Revie and in fairness to Stein and Clough - only Howard Wilkinson achieved what he was brought in to do..........!!

Are you suggesting Jimmy Adamson wasn't fit for purpose?
