"Massimo Cellino has spoken briefly to Sky Sports News and stated he will not be sacking manager, Brian McDermott.
Cellino appeared to indicate he is now aware of some of the problems McDermott has faced before matches, which along with recent speculation that GFH were interfering with team selection, would seem to suggest recent performances are not the fault of the gaffer.
No other indications of Cellino's plans, but for now, McDermott stays.
The rest is up to the fans to back him as a new era starts..."

Wonder whether the fans can accept this, with the poor run we have had.
If it is true about GFH, then the next few games will be the acid test and will prove one way or the other, if McD is better than the past 20 results have shown, and good enough to take us forward.

After the absolute dross these players have served up,they should be thankful they have had some pay at all,and they have got off relatively easy,with the citicism.What else did they expect?.Have they not been taking any notice of the results they have been getting and the league position they have slumped to?.

The players can't hate Cellino all the want - without him they'd not have been paid at all of late.
If the players start spitting their dummies out, then the crowd will turn on them - which for the most part we haven't yet. Yes they were given it both barrels when we were getting gubbed at home by Reading - but then they deserved it for the display of cowardice at home.
I love watching football, but have little or no tolerance for the modern day footballer. They're a really pampered, divorced from reality bunch of divs, who wouldn't cut it anywhere else, other than flipping burgers in many instances ............

The players are a bit upset that Cellino supposedly bad mouthed'em in public!!.
So, does it mean they're absolutely tickled pink when the fans do it then.
Can't see difference tween Cellino doing it and the fans doing it, be it on here, at the ground or on radio etc.
If it's true, and the players are going to revolt and hate Cellino then firstly, I reckon Cellino will show'em door, and secondly, I wouldn't be surprised if it's an inside job and someone instigated it.
As previously pointed out by someone (sorry, forgot ya name) Cellino didn't know he was being taped.
The players are professionals, supposedly; maybe if they acted that way on pitch then they wouldn't have to be on receiving end of the fans or Cellinos wrath.
As for Cellino backing McDermott, I think BM's time is limited. Cellino can't do much this season other than make sure we stave of relegation; end of season is going to be interesting, manager and player wise.
Cellino may well make it his priority to get ER and TA back this season and bring LUFC back together as a whole, including the chairs he once said we don't own.
