Once again the FA have spat in the face of the football fan after it announced that Hull and Arsenal will only be allocated 25,000 tickets each a mere 55% of the stadiums capacity.
17,000 to club Wembley members and 23,000 going to who exactly? A joke really considering if you have been to every cup game you may still not get a ticket and I know for a fact that the club Wembley members sell their tickets for more than double the asking price.
And to top it off due to the non traditional 17.00 kick off the Hull fans that travel by train will have to leave if the game goes to extra time as the last train to Hull leaves at 20.00.
The FA are turning into UEFA and FIFA, they are so out of touch with the modern day football fan and unless there is a profit to be made, don't give a damn about it!

I presume the rest will have been given to corporations so they can advertise 'win tickets to the FA cup final' on their products.
Agree with you Tommo, shower the lot of them, they have no legitimate right to govern our beautiful game.

Thing is 2 wellies, same will happen to is if we get to the play off final, we will probably get about 30,000 when we could easily sell 40-45k (based on demand the last time)

Let's not pretend that we're shocked by this
Promises of a shiny new national stadium meant the people gave up their Wembley and now the corporates own it. Even for qualifying England internationals there is a band of empty seats as the halftime drinks and meals extend well beyond that 15 minutes, resulting in swathes of empty seats being televised live around the world.
The FA have their boys club and are picking up their fat salaries to do nothing to protect the game at any level, and meanwhile the very people that are the lifeblood of the game, the ones that all the sponsors pay all the money to reach, are being turned away in droves as the game they once owned is inexorably priced out of their range.
As it is though, I don't give a crap about the Hull supporters; they had their chance to take a stand against the corporate whoring of the game and meekly voted 'Yes' to their owner doing away with tradition and rebranding them in their entirety, and ironically it is only the FA who stood against him and refused permission.

The 17.00 KO time is a joke, (as it the fact that you can't get a train back home after 20.00).
But then again we all live in London don't we?????
I'm sure the rail companies are "in" with the hotel chains?

Do you still have the keys to Her Majesty's armoury Tommo? I think we could ensure our 45,000 loyal supporters are then guaranteed a seat, probably at a reduced rate too.

It's the fact that you can't get back to Hull from the capital city after 8pm that staggers me!

I think you're being a bit harsh on the Hull fans 666. Allam's "vote" was about as fair as a Florida primary. Hull fans have reported that many of them were not sent the voting material, many that did fill out the forms turned up at the stadium to find the ballot boxes had been removed early, and there were rumours that dissenting voters would be pushed down the pecking order when it came to Wembley ticket allocation. As a result there was only a 39% turn out.
Surprisingly the FA managed to do something right for once and block the change. I can only imagine they're holding out for bigger bungs when Allam appeals.

What makes me laugh about Allam is he thinks Hull Tigers is more appealing than Hull City when in fact there is actually nothing appealing about Hull at all!
