Surely this can't go on?

We can't really be trusting Moyes with £150m can we? Im failing to see what signings bar Ronaldo that could make Moyes' tactics (if there even are any) work at all. Moyes selected a great lineup but they just didn't seem to have anything to offer on the pitch, and seemingly got worse at halftime which to me suggests Martinez made some minor adjustments to control the game more while Moyes did nothing. This is a joke and completely embarrassing. I know Everton are fighting for the CL and it was at Goodison but we didn't even have a sniff at net other than Rooney's challenge late on.

I find it incredible that some of your fans still want him here. Some of you are comparing him to our first season under Rodgers, but we actually showed progression by moving up a place in the league.

Under Moyes you have fallen from 1st to 7th! He is part of the old English dinosaurs such as Hodgson, Big Sam and so on.

Hope you keep him to be honest

how can 150m make any team worse

you can tell he wants to sign a couple of midfielders and a left back. maybe a defender too.

these are plugging the weaknesses in the squad.

fergie left this squad in a mess. all that talk he gave about the squad being in great shape.

what a joke. fergie you are a legend and moyes will take the blame for your failings. some of them being almost negligent (that midfield)

El-Toro is right. Rogers was trying t implement a different philosophy, ad whilst results didn't immediately improve, fans bought into what he was doing because it was obvious what he was trying to achieve. Moyes has had a season and F8%k me its getting worse not better!! What will it take to get rid of this man?

You talk about your squad not being good enough, but look at it compared to Everton, Spurs, Arsenal and even ours.

What has Moyes's style been? I honestly feel if you had a Martinez, Wenger or Rodgers your team would be fighting for fourth at least.

I'm not saying signings wont improve the team at all but the effect will not be as great as people seem to suggest. Its tactics is what we need. Moyes seems to lack tactical knowledge and even Everton players who have played under Moyes have said he lacks tactical know-how. Adding great players can only do so much but soldiers need orders and strategy to win wars. Didn't see Moyes barking from the touchline today. Not even one time. Meanwhile Martinez was guiding his team throughout the game.

The last 3 months under Rodgers last season we were very good, sewing the seeds for this season, of course it didn't matter for league position because the damage was already done by our awful start.

We did show improvement, progression, promising signs for the future and a clear plan.

Moyes has shown none of the above. You beat the poor teams and lose to the good teams. Rinse and repeat.

When he signs them, what tactics will he employ?

Wouldn't the smarter move to be spending less on players, and getting a better manager in. Saves a load of money guys.

Otherwise you will just be like a Chelsea with a Avram Grant, or Big Sam's idea of him managing Madrid lol

avram grant champs league runner up & premier runner up.
long term it will cost just as much replacing the manager as it does buying new players. If the manager doesn't succeed you sack him & inevitably all his backroom staff then comes the payoff then the new guy comes in with his entourage 12 months down the line same scenario & that doesn't include the number of players shipped in & out also.

You could be lucky on the other hand find a manager who is up & coming and stick with him as he wouldn't cost as much.

But are you prepared to risk that given that every owner & supporters want success like yesterday?
