Have to say, I know he committed the ultimate crime in Liverpool fans eyes by going to United for a bit.
But I do have to say, I am starting to like him again, thinking about some the goals he scored for us and some of the memories he gave us during his time with us. He was a class striker at the time and well its hard to explain, he just seems to be growing on me again.
What are other Liverpools fans views on him?

Bunch of big girls blouses on this thread, I watched the first game off the season Liverpool v Stoke on BT sports and Owen tipped Liverpool to go all the way.

He won nothing at Madrid or Man U which I'm happy about!!
But you can tell when he commentates like Redknapp Souness and Carra he is Red to the core, and his goal repeats on LFC channel are still amazing lol.

If anything he should have got more, injuries prevented him from topping 50.
If anything flatters him the it's the European Footballer of the Year title, he was good but not in that company IMO.

I still like Owen.
can't really blame anyone for leaving when real madrid calls. A little miffed about winding his contract down but that's the fault of the club in the main for being idiots
