Man U were a team on the slide and the board didnt bring in enough quality players to challenge for the title. Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal all have better teams than Man U and even if you still had Sir Alex in charge you would be 5th at best. Bearing that in mind why was Moyes the wrong choice? Why couldnt you have the patience to accept that occasionally teams have to rebuild? Barca and Madrid fans can do it, why can't you?
It doesnt matter who your new manager is you will not win the EPL with your current squad. It is truly pathetic to blame the manager when he didnt get the backing in the first place. I really thought you were not like Chelsea or Man City, sacking managers yearly when they do not deliver instant success. Apparently not. At least their boards backed their managers with signings to begin with. Your fans and your club have come out of this looking very poor indeed

Realistically, the next manager will have a much greater chance at success than Moyes.
Reasons: Don't have to follow Fergie, significant transfer funds available, Woodward now more experienced, urgency to not make a repeat of the Moyes error, a full summer to conduct business (albeit a WC year).

I'm all for a decent WUM/banter from a rival supporter. RAP and Melton are great posters but there has been some utter tripe posted on our board in the past 48 hours which push decent stuff down the board.

Anyone. It is literally impossible to do worse than Moyes.
"Barca and Madrid fans can do it, why can't you?" I don't know many Barca and Madrid fans so can neither confirm or refute this. What I do know though is that those clubs would have sacked the woeful Moyes far sooner than we did. The man was given more than enough time to show that he wasn't up to it.

Yep. I've just had a giggle at something that RAP posted, but most of the 'WUM' articles are just a feckin waste of time. I can sort of understand it from one or two rival fans, but Celtic and the like? Celtic don't even play in a league that plays proper football.
