No, not relief that the title challenge is back in our own hands. It can still obviously go anyway of 3 clubs and the eventual winner, Red or Blue, will have deserved it without any doubt. What a great season this is!
I’m just relieved that the sycophantic media has been silenced for a few days at least and that we’re not bombarded with ‘we’re gonna win the league’ and ‘how much Saint Steven deserves it’ by Liverpool fans every moment of every day. I’m relieved not to have any of Jamies Redknapp and Charragher ‘isn’t every about Liverpool wonderful’ articles plastered all over the newspapers.
So, thank you to the 2 Blue title challengers for giving us a little peace - at least until Liverpool win their next game.
What A Relief!

Actually for me it was the opposite of a releif. I had convinced myself that everything was done for this season. At 2.00 pm I was calm, relaxed and a bit depressed. As 6.00 pm I was elated but also having a panic attack.
I remember Vinny's words when we won it last time "please not like this again". Welcome to the City roller coaster.

Sorry Jordan,
I don't mean to lump all 'pool fans in the same boat but with one or two exceptions like yourself, it has been totally over the top since you beat us a couple of weeks ago.

In fairness I think you could understand, to get into the CL would've been exciting enough to end the season on but to actually have the title in our hands it was just as if a dream come true. I think had anyone grown up as a Liverpool fan they would've reacted the same way especially after several seasons of being labelled a mid table club by others.

Dunno, MOTD last night completely focused on Pool fans singing ynwa before the game, we got a Palace banner about us having no soul
The bbc website is still more like a Liverpool fanzine atm.

Jordan,
I sympathise but I can't agree.
City were in the same boat 3 or 4 years ago and we didn't react the way Liverpool fans have acted over the last few weeks. We didn't crowd the streets singing, "we're gonna win the league" and all the Liverpool triumphalism we've witnessed in fans’ forums and on the TV with weeks of the season to go.
This assumption that as long as you handle City & Chelsea then you’ll obviously win your other games really has been extremely disrespectful to the other clubs and their fans that you’ve had to play recently and have yet to play.
There's really no comparison between City & Liverpool’s (clubs and fans) behaviour and I believe Liverpool have scored a major own-goal with this, "we're the neutrals choice' nonsense which has been lapped up and regurgitated by the media. Unless my circle of ‘neutral’ friends and acquaintances is desperately unrepresentative (aside from Utd fans, they support Bolton, Villa, B'ham, West Ham, Wolves, Leicester) No neutral I know wants Liverpool to win it precisely BECAUSE of the ridiculous over-egging by Liverpool fans and pro-Liverpool media in recent weeks.

The BBC will be campaigning for a national day of mourning if Liverpool don't win the League!!

Glad to finally find some like-minded football fans, no none sense from you City boys as ever!
The Liverpool love in knows no bounds and everything from Rodgers as the reincarnated Shankly to Gerrard's 'destiny' is being spouted as a reason why everyone should support the long suffering and loyal scousers. What twaddle; they should spend some time in Division 3 like our clubs!!
Really hope City win this league, just like I did at the start of the season!
