Leeds Utd v Derby County Matchday Thread

Well Here it is , the final game of the season, tinged with sadness as the Club and Fans pay their respects to Leeds Schoolteacher Ann Maguire RIP with a minutes silence prior to Kick Off.

Derby County have won the last 10 meetings in all competitions, since a goalless draw at home in the league in February 2006. Leeds' last win was 3-1 at Elland Road in the league in September 2005.
Leeds have won only one of their last four games at Elland Road, losing the other three. Their only home win since 22 March was 2-0 against Blackpool on 12 April.
Derby also have the highest goals tally in the league (83)

Should be quite a game
Derby sitting in 3rd position, Leeds sitting 15th obviously makes us the underdogs , but .......................just maybe we'll pull off a surprise

Venue: Elland Road Date: Saturday 3 May Kick-off: 12:15 BST

Not the greatest Home record this season, but the Faithful normally pack Elland Road for the last game and with Derby selling out their allocation it should be a brilliant atmosphere
Can we win? Course we can...........2-0 Ross to get past the 30 goals mark with 2 beauties

Over to You............Fans of Both teams Welcome, as are your predictions..........................

Come Onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn Leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeds!!!

No disrespect to him, but, I'm hoping Massimo has a major clear out, including Brown.

Might sound nuts, but, I'd maybe look at re-upping Pugh. He's a solid pro, who hasn't had a run unto now.
Colin and Brian opted to leave him out. He's one of the few versatile players we have. And he's played pretty well of late. Maybe?

Huge clear out required.

New blood needed.

Have a good summer folks, here's to Massimo Cellino doing the right thing.

Fair result at the end of the day, we created more than they did

Their goal shouldn't have stood

I expect to see Tonge and Pugh still here next year among others

Tonge and Brown. Tonge was average, Brown was better but neither should be here next season.
