Pulled this from an article:
"can Manchester City travel to Everton, where they have won once in 15 attempts, and leave with three points?"
That is an amazing stat considering how strong man city have been for about 5yrs, not so much straw clutching asking Everton to take points of city is it, rather a reasonable assumption.
Tbh, its such a crazy season I have no idwa what to expect. I remember wigan under martinez beating man utd and several other big teams somit wouldnt suprise me to see Everton take something. Will city be too wary of Everton, will city leave themselves open by going for the win? Who knows, but I think if city win then they will habe to have worked damn hard to do so; and fair play to em if they manage it.
So, can our delightful neighbours do it?

In those games they had Mirallas, who's now missing the rest of the season. Big shame he isn't playing, they are obviously a much better team.

True. They're less potent in attack without Mirallas but Osman or McGeady (whoever they bring in) aren't exactly bad players and this season, in my opinion, they don't seem overly reliant on any one player - it's more a pattern of play.

I hope Martinez actually gambles on Deulofeu opposed to those you mentioned, can see him causing them problems, but I agree about the style of play.
Nevertheless, think City will have too much for them. Kompany.. Toure..Silva..Aguero..Fernandinho..., all big game players that will get them over the line.

No Barry means osman will play.
Hope both deulofeo and Lukaku both start...

both teams will go out to win for sure, but City are a much better team than Everton, in better form and going to be more up for it and determined. away win.

Mirallas form had actually dipped during Everton's great run and he was on the bench a bit.
He was brilliant Jan-Feb time but then declined.
They are far from a one man team.
The most important thing is that the spine of Howard-Jagielka-McCarthy-Lukaku plays. With a supporting cast including Baines, Barkley, Deulefeu, Everton have every chance of getting something.
It should be a good game as both sides will attack.
I reckon it will be 3-2 either way or 2-2, 3-3.

As much as i would love to see everton win, (i still want them in 4th) i cant see it.
Provided we manage to win our two games i think we will sadly lose the league on Goal Difference, and that is IF we manage to beat palace on monday. which is a big IF, and then get past newcastle..
While we have been winning recentley there was a feel a loss was coming, and we were getting progressively worse with both strikers short of form

Any winning run will end sometime.
I don't agree we were getting progressively worse.
The first half hour against Norwich was as good as we have been anywhere away from home, and the first half hour against City was brilliant too.
No team can just keep winning and winning.
We had the best winning run in European football.
Benfica currently have 11 in a row, the same as we managed.

Even if City win today - I still think there'll be a sting in their other games
My hunch - Villa will get a draw at the Etihad
