That was flaming awful.
I have no idea how those gutless losers have stayed up this season. Utterly pathetic. Only Dawson, Sessegnon and McAuley were even remotely interested.
Half the team need to be moved in and although I'm a massive Pepe Mel fan, he needs to go as these gutless morons simply won't play for him. He deserves better and he should walk away.
CL summed it up - @chrislepkowski: Tonight was a chance for #wba players to show just how much they value their head coach. The verdict was damning
What a pants season and what a huge Summer.
Bla bla....
Jesus wept...

Now perhaps you understand why Pepe won't cut it at West Brom.

More to do with the pathetic tools he's been provided to do the job with by baldy.
Mel will leave, some boring 'yes' man like Hughton will come in and we'll sign a bunch of loans and free as per. But hey, we won't be in any debt > YAWN 👎

In simple terms we are fücking cràp and unless there are serious changes next season, we will be rooted to the bottom of the Premier League all season.
Very disheartening.

Berahino is such a greedy a-rsehole. So often goes for glory rather than the simple pass to a far better positioned team-mate.
Sell him.....

We've wasted our last three transfer windows that is why we are struggling. Baffling that Mel is being blamed for that. Don't worry though. All those suckered in to the medias jingoistic bull shhit about foreign coaches will soon get their wish when we are lumbered with Chris Hughton because he will do exactly what Peace tells him.

Teix, word for word yet again pal 👍
At least the football will be good under a steady Brit like Hughton/Sherwood next season ay?

@smadeley_star: Leaving Stadium of Light after a dismal night, but there are a couple of interesting tales to look out for in tomorrow's E&S. #wba
What we going for then lads?
More spec on new managers? More players fighting? Has Jeremy Peace finally opened his wallet. Nahhh

Taking nothing away from Sunderland, that was another useless result.
Pepe Mel comes across as a very nice bloke, but that's not what we need at the Albion. We need someone who we know will make the players try and play to the best of their ability.
For all that Jonas Olsson has said this has been a terrible season fighting relegation, and for all that Chris Brunt has said the season has been a shambles on and off the field, what have the head coach and the players between them done to address that on the field?
Answer: very little.
We've got some good players who can do better than this, and I don't think they're trying hard enough. Big questions to be asked of Pepe Mel now.

We failed to sign better strikers than the ones who left.
Too many players are underperforming. Why is that?
Maybe the players are still angry over Steve Clarke's dismissal and the subsequent failure to at least appoint a better coach.
Player replacement and signings and head coach appointment have proven too big a job for Richard Garlick and his department.
All these things are what Chris Brunt alluded to when he said this season has been a shambles on and off the field.

West Bromwich Albion manager Pepe Mel: "In the first half we played with little intensity. We were better in the second half but Sunderland beat us with that intensity.
"We have managed to keep the team up but I believe we could have done things better. Especially in today's game."

The players and the head coach are to blame for a whole string of capitulations, going back to the 4-3 defeat at Aston Villa after we were 2-0 up, and the 3-3 draws against Cardiff and Spurs when we were 2-0 up and 3-0 up respectively.
