It is with a heavy heart that I am going to have to give up my season ticket this year. I will not be renewing, partly due to the constant disappointment, but mainly because of family commitments.
Have any other JA606s given up their tickets in recent seasons? How did you feel? Was there some small part of you that was relieved you wouldn't be discussing our inability to break down another 'lower level' team that came to park the bus, only to break way and score an unlikely goal in the 87th minute?
I would like to think that in a couple of seasons time I will be desperate to get my season ticket back (especially as our new stadium will be well on the way to completion ) but somehow I doubt I'll miss the Sunday Games, the cup exits and another manager sacking.

I think I'll give them up for now and keep membership so I can go to the odd game.
Ace you have a knack of hitting the nail on the head, I have 2 teenage girls and I'd rather be spending the time with them, until they don't want to be seen with me that is!

I gave up mine in 2005 when I moved away from London, couldn't commit to every home game. These days I go to maybe half a dozen games a season. Was a bit of a sickener at the time but you get used to it, some things in life are more important.
