I have sat back for several months without commenting, and I have read the pro's and cons of Cellino from both Leeds fans and so called football journalists, and also the Leeds' faithful' who have been writing more on JA606 than Tolkein wrote for War and Peace, but as yet I have not seen anything that makes him any different from other owners. Yes, Cellino has skeletons, so do most top business people. A bit of tax evasion does not make him Peter Sutcliffe.
Yes the Mirror, Star, Mail, Sunday Sport, Chappy's blog have all written endless articles on how corrupt he is or was, and how much inside knowledge both Jonty and LIW have, but truth and fact always seems to be secondary to the diatribe written on blogs and in the Andrex newspapers of today.
For the last decade we have all lambasted the regimes that owned and apparently cared for Leeds, but none of them have actually done anything to bring Leeds to the forefront of Championship football, let alone getting any where near PL football. And, all of them have left us in the sheet, and poorer
If we were such a positive financial certainty, why the f@@k didn't they stay with us. Why, because we were an easy touch to rape and make money out of, and then they all ran for the hills, in case they were found out. And, the fans were the losers. But who gives a Fk about the fans.
Isn't it time to stop finding all the negatives that the internet peddles, and start trying to get behind the club, and it's owner, and move the club forward.
Cellino is not the Virgin Mary, bur neither is he the Anti-Christ. Let's stop trying to find anything that is in the slightest negative, and start looking for the smallest of positives
Who knows, maybe a positive approach is what the club needs.
I live thousands of miles away, but I meet many footballing people, chairmen, managers and players, past and present, who all spend a lot of time in the Algarve and know me from my past, and when we talk, they all say that Leeds fans are their own worst enemies. Yes we have had Bates, and other get rich quick rsoles, but we now have a football owner who is passionate, and is not stupid. No he won't throw silly money into the mix, but he will support the club, and strive to make it a powerhouse again.
We were great once, and can be again, but we will never be as long as we try to find negatives in everything that happens, and constantly try to undermine anything that happens. FFS give Cellno a break, and start to get behind him. At least he has never said he would destroy us. Unlike the owner of TA and ER.
Ooops, sorry my contacts never told me that.
WTF is wrong with people

I agree LUFC H'GATE - but it should work both ways - no need for comments about blindly backing MC (that is not the case for 99.999%) and having the head in the sand when those folk disagree with the people who are questioning decisions. 2 way street.

Totally agreed Harrogate, its an expensive hobby following Leeds around the country. Ill keep doing it because even though the football is dire and club is in a mess there's still nothing better than going to another city/town for the weekend, its for the buzz.
But one day, it would be nice to go to these games with a bit of optimism....and i'm not too optimistic about MC at the moment! Too many are pretending not to hear the alarm bells

The reason most people get away with things is because good folk do nothing and allow it to happen.

Those "good folk" I assume you're referring to are the fans? Genuine question? Who are the good folk?

Having lived and worked near Watford for 18 months, I sort of understand the mindset .......... it was a dreadful place .........
