Which can only mean one thing - I have returned from Sicily to the shores of Spain. I am aching with longing as I hear the tales of travel arrangements and rendezvous' being arranged, but I can taste the build up through these hallowed 606 portals...It's been a long time since I've felt this sense of...I don't know...destiny, I guess.
I have to perform over here on the night of the 24th, but I will be watching every kick of the game, and I wont be leaving the house until the dust has settled.
I've had three signs on my travels...
The First: being served a latte in Taormina with 'Derby' on the glass.
The Second: driving past a monument in Terrasini with "24th. May" clearly engraved upon it
The Third: Stepping out of the motorhome at the foot of the Sierra Nevada on the way back from Seville airport today to be greeted by graffiti right in front of me saying "BRAVO!"
I mean, that's it lads, isn't it?

All those years ago, in 1946, I was a schoolboy and I felt certain too that The Rams would beat Charlton in that cup final. I feel the same now about Saturday. COYR.

Haven't yet received a late call up from Schteve so thankfully the squad must be in good health, but will clean my boots just in case. Thought about sacrificing the hamster to the Football Gods, but my 10 year old girl is against the idea for some reason.
