The Konoplyanka Quote

There's been a quote going round today that the Ukranian winger we're linked with said he'd rather stay with his club than move to United because of no CL football. Clearly it's been fabricated (by a Russian journalist who supports Liverpool) as the real quote is translated below. To me it sounds like he's unsure if he wants to move to United instead of being certain to stay with his club.

- If you have two options - go to the " Manchester United "or stay in the" Dnepr "and play in the Champions League - that choose?

- Most likely, would have remained in the "Dnepr". But let's not get ahead.

He couldn't have given a more generic answer if he tried.

"most likely stay" thats most likely stay when given the option of STAYING or joining UNITED.
