Since everyone seems to be delighted at signing Ronny Deila as manager because he is a progressive manager, developing youth players while playing attacking football. He won the Norwegian League on a shoestring budget. It took him 6 years to do it. I know another manager from an unfashionable league that fits that same bill. He has been a manager for 3 years, won 2 domestic leagues and 2 league cups. He plays attacking football while developing youth players and does it all of a shoestring budget. Tommy Breslin of Cliftonville FC. Would you be as excited about Tommy taking over?

He will be given time but he is up against it because his first few games are the European qualifiers. He can't afford to get them wrong.

Clarke was my choice from the day Lennon quit, bit if Deila is all he's cracked up to be then it's the manager we've been needing for a long time.

When Clarke was at Chelsea,Liverpool and WBA I felt he knew the job,and indeed turned Chelsea over,when at Liverpool...........something Rodgers could not do,and he is a decent manager.

Clarke has a great reputation as a coach and tactically, his downfall is creativity and invention going forward.

If Delia does get off to a slow start will the fans get on his back? or will he get the same leeway that Clarke or Keane may have?
There was a Celtic fan on SSN saying he "needs" to win the treble surely the only requirement for his first season is the SPL is it not?
