Mangala says he wants London and is frightfully expensive
Benatia looks decent and is 28yo, a cheaper option than Manga
Hummels is still only 25 and has plenty of CL experience
Pepe is knocking on at 31, but could do a decent job for a couple of years.
I would prefer a youngish CB that can partner Vinnie for the next 4 years and carry on when Vinnie retires.

I know he's not the popular choice but last few times I've watched Pepe play for real he has been very impressive. Don't know about the others - although Mangala has a reputation for being a pain in the #rse - which he seems to be living up to.

yes grated - his age and valuation don't look quite right. Can't see us going for him. However as I said, if you watched him in the CL he played really well - a CB at that level alongside a fit VK would be a formidable centre.
