Scottish Teams got great draws

St J playing a Swiss team will be tricky, but the rest got gift games. Iceland is the worse scandinavian league by a distance, ranked below the Irish League. We should skelp this lads, no different than playing Cliftonville last year. Motherwell will skelp the other icelandic team, if they manage to get past Bangor. Then Aberdeen play a Latvian team the currently lie 7th in the league, 20 points behind the leaders already.

Should be 3 Scottish League wins.

I wouldn't even want to see Aberdeen win a corner never mind a European game

Like to see all Scottish teams getting that co-efficient back up.

Less qualifiers for the bears when the cream rises back to the top again

when it comes to Celtic, they've more chance of getting points in the europa, so I want you's humped in the champions league qualifiers then into the Eruopa....ye's dont need the dosh!

We do need the dosh, we're skint

Personally i won't be as dissapointed with the Europa League this year, i'll settle to get to the play off qualifier then straight into the Europa League.

Of course it would be great to get to the group stages and then finish 3rd or even better, 2nd but with a new manager and new ideas i'm going to give him time

As far as I see it, you've got far more of a chance of getting European fitba after xmas if you go into the Europa first.

Wins gets you more coeff points.
Poorer opposition in the Europa means better cance of getting those wins.

Europa is the place for ye's

£10m in the 'Tics skyrocket does us bears no favours
A decent Europa run gives you a wee bit of cash, no uber millions, and can get coeff up more than last 16 would unless you win nearly every Champions League group game.

Aberdeen got near enough as many coeff points for reaching the last 32 of the Uefa Cup in 07/08 as Celtic did for getting to the last 16 of the UCL that season.

Rangers got more than double Celtic got in 07/08 for reaching the final

It is weird how it works, you should certainly get a lot more in the Champions League. Personally i think the whole thing needs revamped again.

Teams finishing 3rd and fourth and only have one qualifer against teams winning the league in a half decent league having to play 3 just isn't right.

Hopefully the clubs can start off well though and get the Co-Eff up
