The players in BOLD I reckon are good prospects but maybe too early for 1st team
Italic are players I think are not at their peak anymore.
And bold italic are (or in this case) player I think is neither good enough for us.
But this shows we will need at least 5 players or quality
1 R/B, 1 Goalie, 1 Striker, 1 CB and 1 DM
I cannot see Wenger buy more then 3 or 4 of these and none will be major quality. Don't get me wrong I love Wenger but do go on a downer during Transfers...
He will get a striker - reckon its Remy guys
A goalie - Some experience late 30's goalie
And a DM or CB and a R/B
So don't expect much. Campbell will be like a new signing as will Walcott when he returns off injury….

Honestly don't think we will sign a RB to be first choice. Just feels like a Wenger move to give Jenkinson his chance as first choice - perhaps sign someone as backup.
100% we will sign a striker, and can't see it being Remy unless we sell Giroud and sign two strikers. Think we will sign Benzema or Balotelli.
As for a DM, I can't see it, as I can't see us getting shot of Arteta or Flamini, and Wenger won't have 3 squad slots taken up by DM's imo.
In all honesty if our one signing this summer was a top quality striker, I'd be more than happy with that.
Ideally, though, striker + backup GK + DM + left winger.

As far as Jenkinson is concerned I can't help but feel if Wenger doesn't give him a chance now he'll probably not get one.
